Cinespia Graveyard Screenings Looking for Your Input

Photo by Kelly Lee Barrett for Cinespia

Heading to the Hollywood Forever Cemetery on a summer evening with your blanket, picnic, bottle of wine, and friends in hand is a right of seasonal passage for many residents of the Larchmont Village and Hancock Park area. Not only is it local, but it’s a fantastic way to see a great film while enjoying the stars overhead and the lawn beneath.

The summer screening season is almost upon us, and Cinespia, sponsor of the weekly event and celebrating its 10th anniversary, is looking for your input on what films to feature this year. If you’d like to suggest a film to screen click on to their Facebook page and add your input. You may peruse the assortment of films they’ve already screened on the Cinespia website, along with thousands of photos that show you just how lively these night-time screenings can be.

The Cinespia experience is not to be missed – but remember to buy a ticket beforehand (they sell out most weeks) and bring something really warm to wear. Once the sun sinks below those gravestones, you’ll feel a shiver creep up your spine in more ways than one.
