There are two public meetings this week for Wilshire area residents to learn more details on the Metro Purple Line digging soon to begin down Wilshire Boulevard.
Residents of Windsor Village have already seen, and felt, the impact of the construction as the Metro Lot at Wilshire and Crenshaw has begun being used as a staging area. For the bigger picture on station design, public artwork and general plans, Metro is holding a meeting for the public:Pre-Construction Update, Station Design and Art Advisory Group Meeting for Purple Line Extension Wednesday, January 29, 2014 5:30-7:30 p.m. Petersen Automotive Museum 6060 Wilshire Blvd – 4th Floor (parking validated in museum parking structure.) Construction will begin later this year with the Purple Line Extension expected to be open in 2023.
