The Greater Wilshire Neighborhood Council (GWNC) will hold its first meeting of 2016 this week, and the agenda is packed with items affecting life in the neighborhood. Three items of note include:

- The LA Department of Water and Power (LADWP) will kick off its Water Conservation Challenge, “180 Days to Turn It Around” Campaign with GWNC residents in the top 1% of users who have volunteered to reduce their water consumption by 20%.
- Also, the Land Use Committee of the GWNC will report on its review of the revised Baseline Mansionization Ordinance and its recommendation to oppose the current draft.
Everyone is welcome to attend the meeting on Wednesday, January 13, 2016 at the Ebell of Los Angeles at 7pm.
