Trash Mischief Managed

CIM trash area used for illegal dumping of construction debris
CIM trash area was used for illegal dumping of construction debris, now cleaned up.

Watchful Brookside neighbors noticed a pile of what appeared to be construction debris overflowing from the dumpster at the Farmers Insurance building, now owned by CIM. The site is the subject of a controversial development to build 87 condominiums and town homes.

Inquires by the Buzz were answered by a CIM spokeswoman who said, “The trash was the result of illegal dumping at the property yesterday, which was immediately addressed and removed.  There is currently no work being done at the building and no trash being generated,” said Karen Diehl of Diehl Communications.

We checked on Sunday, and indeed, it was removed.
