Serving Larchmont Village, Hancock Park, and the Greater Wilshire neighborhoods of Los Angeles since 2011.

Night of Spanish Romance

The LA Conservancy is opening the doors to one of Hancock Park’s greatest treasures, La Casa de las Campanas next weekend.  Widely regarded as the city’s preeminent Spanish Colonial Revivial home (architect Lester Sherer), guests will have the opportunity to explore the N. June St. house and gardens in the annual fall fundraiser to benefit the Conservancy. What an opportunity to  ogle the 20 foot redwood beams, original wrought-iron fixtures and the bell tower for which the home was named. Not to mention supporting a good cause: the Los Angeles Conservancy.

Linda Bruckheimer and Diane Keaton will host the Saturday, Oct 29 event which begins at 6pm with cocktails and hors d’oeuvres (for a $300 ticket) – or stay for the dinner al fresco for tickets priced between $2,500 and $25,000. Read the full details on the LA Conservancy site.

It’s a fine reminder that we live in a spectacular corner of the world. Travel and Leisure Magazine picked Hancock Park as one of 12 of  “America’s Most Beautiful Neighborhoods” in their October issue.
